Description:
Quite a few counterfeit gold stamped promotional CDs surfaced on eBay from Italy in the mid-2010s. The images here serve only as examples for such items. There are several things to consider when buying gold-stamped promo CDs to protect yourself from purchasing a counterfeit.
1. All known official gold-stamped promos were issued by Atlantic. None of Tori's other labels have used the gold stamps.
2. Only vinyl, jewel-cased CDs and cassettes were marked with a gold-stamp. Promotional digipaks and deluxe releases were marked in other ways, such as promotional text on the back and on the CD.
3. No singles were promoted with gold-stamps. Atlantic singles had unique promotional releases with separate catalog numbers, usually beginning with PRCD.
