This 7" single was released in 1980 after Tori (then known as Myra Ellen) won a Baltimore city contest to write a theme song for the city. The vinyl was privately pressed and is one of the rarest Tori items. It was once thought that there were only a handful of these in existence, however Tori's father, Dr. Edison Amos, has stated that Tori shared the pressing with another person for a total of 1000 vinyls. Tori's vinyl was the larger of the two lots, so this puts the actual number of Baltimore vinyls somewhere between 500 and 1000. |

This item is not necessarily a single, however it is of interest to Tori collectors. This reel-to-reel recording appeared for sale on Ebay in December of 2003. It contained 6 never-before-heard songs recorded in 1982 under the name Myra Ellen. The songs were released onto CD and distributed among fans, however this reel-to-reel is the only known original source of these songs. The sound quality of the songs is not the greatest due to the age and condition of the reel. |
