Description: Tori's 15th solo album arrived late October 2021, debuting at No. 6 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart. It is her highest charting effort in over a decade, and was released in an exciting array of collector's formats, including limited edition vinyl and cassette. This is the first cassette release in nearly 20 years; her last one was in 2002 with Scarlet's Walk. This album also ushers back in both Jon Evans and Matt Chamberlain to the recording studio, their first appearance on one of her album's in over 10 years.
From her newsletter: "In spite of the various crises that have occurred since 2017’s Native Invader, Tori Amos has emerged with Ocean to Ocean, her most personal work in years – an album bursting with warmth and connection, with deep roots in her earliest song writing.
Written during the 3rd Lockdown in Cornwall this year, Ocean to Ocean is a universal story of going to rock bottom and renewing yourself all over again.
An album of kinship and love, of emotional and geographical dislocation, the new collection explores environmental concerns, the restraints of the pandemic for those on the cusp of adulthood, empowerment, loss & healing delivered with Tori’s trademark urgency and passion."
